The Mitsubishi Electric inverter-driven compressor integrates advanced sensor technology to detect subtle changes in temperature. Like a car’s cruise control, the sensors automatically adjust the compressor speed to match system output requirements perfectly. They reduce the system's energy use, unlike conventional compressors that run only at one speed, resulting in an endless wasteful cycle of starting and stopping.
The texture of the air conditioner front panel uses a transparent acrylic resin. It features a complex metallic hairline processing on the back side that is visible through the transparent acrylic resin. This texture concept was realised by a design team in Japan back in 2016 through trial and error, making micron adjustments to reproduce the texture effect with a two-step silver metallic paint process.
Master craftsmanship painting technology has resulted in a refined design, giving the textured finish a deep colour and premium quality feel.

The LN Series is equipped with a 3D i-see Sensor, an infrared-ray sensor that rotates to the left and right, analysing the room temperature in three dimensions and is able to judge where people are in the room. The unit can then adjust automatically so airflow can be precicely controlled.
The unit knows if a room is unoccupied for a length of time and automatically switches to various stages of energy-saving modes.
